Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly well-known American singer and actor. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier), a nurse and Tom Bell, a television news director. Kristen is of Polish origin (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in the world of entertainment in her early years. Her audition was in 1992 and was offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother before the age of 13 and was cast as a model for advertisements on television and newspapers. Additionally, she began to take classes in acting privately. Bell had a minor role, uncredited in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama club. Bell was chosen to play the lead role of Dorothy at her school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre after the completion of her studies. Bell, who graduated in 2001, left her college studies in order to take on the role Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene has been cut out and the credits only depict her. Bell appeared on Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
