James made his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became the first NBA player to earn 10,000 points in his career. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national media celebrated him as an NBA player of the year. In 2003 it was the year that the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first during the NBA draft as a prep-topro. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, the player quickly became one of the top league players winning an NBA MVP award in 2010 and 2009. James did not win an award in Cleveland and left the city as"a "free agent" in the year 2010. The decision was announced in the TV special The Decision.
